My name is Tara Zamani and I am a freshman at Kihei Charter School. I am very passionate about helping the environment and others, as I dream to one day become a doctor. Learning about how I could be more sustainable has helped me become more environmentally conscious. As the carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere constantly increase, my future is at risk. I know that as a person I need to make some major lifestyle changes and live differently than past Americans to help protect the Earth.

I am Allie, also a freshman at Kihei Charter School. Growing up in a world that has become so industrialized, I have realized just how much of an impact we as humans have on the world. I may have not had a choice in how damaged the Earth has become but I do have a choice to do something about it. Over the course of my life I have always had a positive outlook on everything including the future of the world, I hope by becoming more educated in how we affect the planet I can continue to make that positive outlook a reality.
My name is Jaci Chuaunsu. Like Allie and Tara, I am also in my freshman year at Kihei Charter School. I consider myself to be pretty honest, so I'm not gonna lie when I say that I was always all about "saving the planet". Just a year ago, if you told me about climate change, I would've just brushed it aside, due to it's overinvolvement in politics, especially when there are other, bigger problems in the world that needed to be dealt with. With this project introduced to us however, I soon came to realize that climate change is very real and, although not more important, is yet another problem to add to the "World's Biggest Problems" list. In light of this, I am now trying to be less wasteful of the resources I use and can only hope to show others that they can too, through this project of ours, for the sake of our generation's future.
